Magnum Chaos
“Magnum Chaos” is the eighth music video from the album Devilish (2023) by the São Paulo-based band Torture Squad. The song, “Magnum Chaos,” which is divided into three chapters, “Gaia,” “A Farewell to Mankind,” and “The Last Journey,” is basically a cry for help from the planet to humanity. Recorded and produced by Maycon Roberto Avelino of Starship Video (@starshipvideos), the acoustic instrumental “Gaia” includes text in the video with updated information on the planet’s deterioration by António Guterres, Secretary-General of the United Nations.

THOTH
This is the band’s first music video made entirely by AI (Artificial Intelligence), with images constructed from information provided by the lyricist, Rene Simionato, and edited by producer and editor Daniel Berrettini of DB Creative Studio. “This song is about Thoth, who carries all the ancestral wisdom of Ancient Egypt, and who in ancient Greece was known as Hermes Trismegistus. Everything became a true mystical journey, bringing the mystery of the Seven Hermetic Laws, which appear in the video in a symbolic and powerful way, and which align directly with the heaviness of death metal,” comments guitarist Rene Simionato.
SANCTUARY
Produced by Maycon Avelino, with footage captured from the show held at Red Star Studios in August 2024 in São Paulo, “Sanctuary” brings the concept of classic death metal music videos released in the early 90s. “I remember us going crazy watching the videos of Napalm Death, Morbid Angel, Death, Carcass, Entombed, Dismember, in the early 90s, and both those videos and the era itself marked us a lot. Since we aim to release music videos for all Devilish songs, there had to be at least one song with that aesthetic. “Sanctuary” fit like a glove because it has that 90s death metal atmosphere,” comments drummer Amilcar Christófaro.
WARRIOR
“Warrior is a song for all the warriors of the world, inspired by the life philosophies of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu master Rickson Gracie. This new version features Leather Leone as our special guest, mixing Heavy Metal and Thrash Metal with two metal singers from different generations, as a symbol of struggle and resistance.” (Mayara Puertas). Music by Torture Squad. Recorded and mixed at Bay Area Studios by Diego Rocha. Mastered by Martin Furia. Produced by Torture Squad. Filmed by Caike Scheffer. Recorded at Neuron Brasil Studio. Thanks to Rodney Christófaro and Family. Fighters: Luciana Oliveira Santana, Camilo dos Anjos Gomesan, Fernando Silveira
BURIED ALIVE
“Buried Alive,” one of the most energetic tracks on the album Devilish. The song delivers ferocious thrash metal with strong crossover hardcore influences and features a special guest appearance by Andreas Kisser (Sepultura), who recorded an exclusive guitar solo for the track. The music video was filmed at the historic Saúde Skate Park in São Paulo, one of the most traditional landmarks of the city’s underground scene. The skatepark has been home to generations of skaters since the 1980s and stands as a symbol of urban cultural resistance. The location carries a strong connection to the DIY and challenging spirit that also helped shape Brazilian metal.
FLUKEMAN
“Flukeman is the third promotional video from the new album “Devilish”. A mysterious horror story inspired by a character from the X-Files series, a mutant humanoid that hides in the water to attack its victims.”
Hell is Coming
“Hell is Coming” is a Progressive Death Metal track inspired by the online game Diablo IV, where “Lilith” is the main character. In the music video, Lilith is portrayed by five-time world cosplay champion and drag queen Mauricio Somenzari, also known as “Eslováquia”. Credits and crew: Special guest: Mauricio Somenzari as Lilith, Alex Nasser (percussion). Music video produced, directed and edited by Eric Luchini. Camera: Eric Luchini, Leonardo Marques Teixeira. Makeup: Emily Paula, Karol Moro. Production assistant: Fernanda Matiello. Lighting assistant: Murilo dos Santos, Diogo Barbosa Soares. Music: Produced by Torture Squad and Diego Rocha. Recorded and mixed by Diego Rocha at Bay Area Studios. Mastered by Martin Furia.

The Fallen Ones
“The Fallen Ones” is a science fiction song inspired by abduction stories from films and series such as The X-Files (1993) and Signs (2002). The sound of this new song is a powerful mix of Thrash, Death Metal, and Progressive Metal elements. The music video was produced by Eric Luchini, who has worked on major productions for companies like Netflix, and features a suspenseful plot that stimulates the viewer’s imagination, questioning the truth behind these events.
