One of the most acclaimed bands in Brazilian metal, TORTURE SQUAD, released the live album ‘Tortura en La Iglesia En Vivo’, featuring the new single “The Fallen Ones,” which is accompanied by an incredible, conceptual music video produced by Eric Luchini (Tilt Filmes) premiering exclusively on Decibel Magazine’s website. The new song was included as a bonus track on the album to show that many new things are on the way, serving as an introduction to the sound of an unreleased album that will be released in 2023. The album is available on digital platforms and will be released physically soon.

Regarding the new single, TORTURE SQUAD comments: “The Fallen Ones is a science fiction song inspired by abduction stories from films and series like The X-Files (1993) and Signs (2002). The sound of this new song is a powerful blend of elements of Thrash, Death Metal, and Progressive Metal. The music video was produced by Eric Luchini, who has worked on major productions for companies like Netflix, and presents a suspenseful plot that stimulates the viewer’s imagination, questioning the truth behind these events.”

“Tortura en La Iglesia En Vivo” encapsulates the energy of the headbangers present on July 16, 2022, where the band performed to a sold-out night at La Iglesia concert hall in São Paulo, one of the largest metropolises in the world. The entire recorded show served as the basis for the new live album.
